INDA and Heifer International
We are currently working with the INDA group (an African based
organization promoting self reliance amongst the people) and Heifer
International to bring a sustainable food source to the people of
goal is to be able to provide a livestock animal to a family and have the
produce and offspring shared with the rest of the village. This is an ongoing
project that is also being supported by the children of the congregation
through monthly “noise offerings” (donations of loose change dropped into
metal pails by congregants during service). For more information on Heifer

The latest news from INDA and John Obingo as of 03/01/11:
INDA's certificate as a self-help group was renewed with the government in February 2011. Two reps from Heifer-Kenya met with INDA families in Maseno, and it was decided that 20 families in 4 different INDA zones will be receiving Heifer livestock. Heifer is currently developing a detailed project budget for INDA and Shiloh-Kenya Group approval.
