Adult Education Opportunity (Will take a short break and meet again August 1st)

       Pastor Mary will be leading a new adult class during the regular Sunday school hour (Sunday mornings, 9:15 to 10:15). We will follow a basic confirmation-type curriculum and learn about Bible basics, the history of the ancient Israelites in the Old Testament and the early church in the New Testament, and how to incorporate faith into our daily lives. At the end of the course (next spring), students will have an opportunity to develop a statement of faith and to confirm (or re-confirm) their commitment to Christ. Materials will be provided.  Please sign up on the bulletin board across from the elevator in the Narthex or speak with Pastor Mary or with Kathy in the church office (275-1943).

 

PRESCHOOL CHILDREN  THROUGH THE 5TH GRADE

Sunday July 18th the Summer Schedule for Children's Church School

Children age 3 years to 5th grade will be together in multiage groups with helpers assisting age groups.

 Children will explore learning Sign Language for our memory verse.  

During the Summer months we are exploring the People of God" in the Old and New Testaments.

There are many exciting stories of God's People in the Bible which only come to us during the summer months.  

THIS SUNDAY, JULY 18, 2010, WE WILL EXPERIENCE THE STORY OF JONAH

 

CHILDREN WILL TAKE UP THE "NOISE OFFERING" FOR HEIFER PROJECT DURING WORSHIP  THE 18TH!

 

ADULTS AND CHILDREN ARE INVITED TO JOIN US EVERY SUNDAY AT 9:15 AM!

WE LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING NEW FRIENDS !

 

 

 

CHRISTIAN FORMATION CLASSES    ---  full class schedule will begin again in September

  •    Children age 2 years to  age 5    ---   Parents are welcome to be with their young children --  this
             class meets in the Preschool classroom & Nursery area  on the lst floor of the Christian Ed.
             Building.
  •    Primary  group  Kindergarten - 2nd Grade  -   Meet in the Primary Class Room on lst floor of the
             Christian Ed. Building.
  •    Young Youth  5th to 8th Grade -  Meet at end of short hallway  on 1st floor of Christian Ed. Building.
  •    Older Youth  Age 15 to 18 --  Meet in the Teen Room  halfway  down the long hall  1st floor of
             C.E. Building.
  •    Adult Study Group with Pastor Mary will meet in Education Wing.     
  •    Adult Group   "Seasons of the Spirit"   will meet in the Chapel

No matter who you are or where you are on life's journey you are welcome in this place!

Children take a "Noise" Offering the 3rd Sunday of each month during Worship Services.

The offering goes to the Heifer Project International  for the Kenya Project in Soy, Kenya Africa
