Nursery - During the 10:30 worship service, and seasonal evening services, we provide a cheerful, well-equipped nursery staffed each week by one adult caregiver and one teen helper. Your child is welcome to visit and explore, and stay with us as soon as he or she feels comfortable. Stay for as long as you like, and peek in the window any time to see how things are going. Child care is also available during the Sunday School hour.
Lullaby Room - Some babies and toddlers do fine in church, and many parents prefer to keep their children with them. Another option is the "lullaby room" off the rear of the sanctuary, where you will find a rocking chair, changing facilities, crib, toys.
Children and Youth in Church - We encourage children age four and older to worship with their family, and some younger children prefer this also. Children's Worship Bulletins are available from the ushers, as are Worship Packets which may include crayons and coloring pictures or small toys with focus on learning about worship
Sunday School for All Ages - At 9:15 each Sunday morning during the school year, the children meet together (see above), then go to their classrooms. We teach children about God's love in Jesus Christ, as revealed to us in the scriptures, and by the Holy Spirit alive in us. Emphasis is on sharing that love and joyfully serving the wider community. Learning by doing is an important component, especially for the younger children. Teen classes start at 9:15. Topics vary, looking at real-life issues from a Christian perspective.
