Shiloh-Kenya Mission Group

Our Mission

Our group’s mission is to share God’s will with the Kenyan people through mutual friendship, learning and support. We seek to be the voice, hands and feet of the Kenyan people by promoting friendship and projects through our congregation, our community and the Christian Church at large, and by striving to identify the means by which the Kenyan people will be empowered to strengthen their lives and their faith. We seek to serve the Kenyan people in the spirit of Jesus Christ’s love and compassion for all of God’s children.

INDA and Heifer International

We are currently working with the INDA and Heifer International to bring a sustainable food source to the people of Kenya. This is an ongoing project that is also being supported by the children of the congregation through monthly “noise offerings”. For more information, please see the expanded page on this site.

Soy Daycare and Food Program

The village of Soy in Kenya offers a daycare center for the preschool aged children of the village. Because of the scarcity of food stuffs, many of the children of the Soy Daycare find their only meal of the day here. For more information, please see the expanded page on this site.

Recycle aluminum cans for Kenya!

Please deposit aluminum cans in the green plastic trash bin outside the vestibule to support the feeding program of the daycare in Soy, Kenya. The meal provided at the daycare may be the only food many of the children have for the day. If you cannot bring your cans to the church, please call Dave Krum at 275-4533 to arrange pick up. The Shiloh Kenya Mission Committee thanks you.
